Celebrating the Rich Cultural heritage of our members.

Our Mission is to preserve, promote, and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our members, foster a sense of unity and pride within our community, and advocate for the rights and well-being of our members.

From Our Leadership

At Kokwet NSW, we believe in unity, cultural pride, and community empowerment. Here’s a special message from our President sharing our vision and commitment.

Message from the President

Welcome to KOKWET, the fastest-growing Kenyan community association in New South Wales. It is a joy seeing more and more of us come together, determined to preserve our heritage and carry it forward through future generations. Our cultural identity is not something we leave behind at the airport. It is living, breathing, and ever-present through language, food, values, and the spirit of togetherness we grew up on.

This organisation draws its life from a vibrant community spread across Sydney and the surrounding regions. A heartfelt thank you to our chapters and members in Newcastle, Wagga Wagga, Albury-Wodonga, Wollongong, Tamworth, and countless other towns that proudly carry the KOKWET flag. You are the heartbeat of everything we do.

President, Kokwet New South Wales Association
